Please note that this visa waiver scheme is non-extendable and cannot be converted into other type of visa. Furthermore, it is only valid for the following types of visit (with the exemption of journalism visit):

  1. Leisure and tourism
  2. Family
  3. Social
  4. Art and Cultural
  5. Government visits
  6. Giving a lecture or attend a seminar
  7. Attend a meeting held by Head office or Representative office in Indonesia
  8. While in transit on the way to another country

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR VISA-FREE SHORT VISITS

  1. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months as from the date of entry into Indonesia.
  2. Onward or return tickets are compulsory.
  3. No compulsory vaccinations.
  4. Visitors on Visa-Free Short Visits must enter and exit from certain airports and seaports in Indonesia.

Please note that these regulations do not apply for foreigners/expatriates (including members of their family) who are assigned/based in Indonesia. Visa is required and should be applied for.
